Happy New Year, 2010! It’s our prayer that God will bless you and your family for your participation in our ministry in Uganda in various ways during last year, 2009 and previously.
A young man who was leading our worship service in our church recently asked this question: “How does the Lord do amazing things and we just keep quiet?” This is a really convicting question, particularly to us, when we consider that God has done so many great things in our lives and ministry in 2009. Unfortunately we’ve been such poor communicators and we have not shared these with you. However, we so much appreciate your faithful prayer and financial support. Please keep up with these in this new year, 2010!
In about an hour, we will set out for a Women of Excellence conference in Mbarara (approx. 200 miles in western Uganda). Both of us will be giving several talks to a group of several hundreds of women. About one month ago, Lois was the keynote speaker in another women’s conference in Fort Portal (about 300 miles west of Kampala) and about 1000 women attended.
The Lord has enabled us to achieve all this because of your prayers and financial support. We shall continue to update you on what the Lord is doing in our Lives.
